We Finally Made It to Bark at the Park
On-field parade, 2026 dates, and how to actually get tickets.

We've been eyeing Bark at the Park at Citi Field for years β watching other pups parade across the field in their little jerseys while we refreshed the ticket page too late. Last year, we finally made it happen. And honestly? It was everything.

π The Journey: Two Bernedoodles and a Rush Hour 7 Train
Getting there was half the adventure. We took the 7 train out to Willets Point β packed car, rush hour energy, zero personal space β with two large Bernedoodles in tow. The looks on people's faces were priceless. One guy cheered "Let's go Mets!" and gave Bailey an unsolicited paw-five. Classic Queens.

βΎ Bark in the Park: Where Dogs Steal the Show
Before first pitch, we joined the pregame Dog Parade around the warning track. Walking onto that diamond with hundreds of other dogs and their humans β in the middle of New York City β was one of those moments that just hits. Bailey trotted like she owned the place. Beso tried to greet every single dog she passed. Same, honestly.
Pro tip: arrive early through the Bullpen Gate (it opens two hours before game time). Late arrivals don't get on the field, and you do not want to miss this part.

π¦ Treats, Compliments & a Core Memory
The girls were absolutely showered with attention the entire night. Strangers stopping mid-walk. Kids gasping. A vendor slipping them an extra biscuit. The highlight of the whole evening: vanilla soft serve in a tiny plastic catcher's helmet. That image lives in our hearts rent-free.
All dogs sit together in the Coca-Cola Corner β the only dog-permitted section β which creates this incredible little pocket of pure chaos and joy. Your dog needs their own ticket (yes, really), and a portion of both human and dog tickets goes to North Shore Animal League America. So you're technically doing charity work. Very noble.

10/10, Would Bark Again
Between the on-field parade, the treats, the fellow dog parents, and the general energy of a summer night at Citi Field β this is one of those NYC experiences that earns its hype. Tickets sell out fast, so when they drop, don't hesitate.
